Pilot 

The pilot phase is a test period during which the first activity is of training. Test cases are provided to offshore team and local accountants help in training the team using these cases. During the second half of the pilot the cases are measured against the following parameters: Speed, quality, knowledge.

Also a statement of Work in which the tasks for pilot phase are specified, is established.

Objective of pilot phase:
- Gain good knowledge of templates and software used
- Gain good knowledge of working method of customer
- Map the knowledge gap areas
- Carry out of the agreed statement or Work effectively
- Measure speed, quality and volume with the customer

Result at the end of pilot:
- Internal roadmap to improve process and fill any knowledge gap
- External roadmap for extending the statement or Work (for phase 2) and cooperation/communication to improve.

The pilot phase typically lasts 0 to 4 months. Also note that the accountants cannot perform any tasks that require end-customer interaction.
